How to Batch Rename Multiple Files in Windows 10

-

Batch renaming multiple files in Windows 10 is both at home and at business beneficial. To have different naming formats, right-click and rename every single file one by one. However, it is much quicker and easier to rename all the files at once using a bulk rename tool.

On the bright side, though, since the Command Prompt and PowerShell tools offered with Windows 10 are difficult to use and get incorrect if you aren’t an experienced user, the platform does have a couple more ways to accomplish this task, including using its Command Prompt and PowerShell tools. Batch renaming files with File Explorer is a simpler and faster process. By the end of this guide, you will know how.

To bulk-rename files in File Explorer, we recommend using two separate procedures. When working with batch renaming, it is best to find an efficient way to go through all the files in the batch without having to name each file one by one.

We’ll teach you the easiest method of renaming a bunch of files if you don’t mind giving every file a generic name. In other words, all the files you’ve picked have the same name, but with numbers given to them.
