Muralikrishnan B. has been named president of Xiaomi India

Last month, Xiaomi announced that Mr. Alvin Tse would be taking over as General Manager of the Indian division. Today, the company announced that Mr. Muralikrishnan B would be taking over as President.

Since 2018, Muralikrishnan has served as Chief Operating Officer of Xiaomi India, and his leadership has been crucial to the company’s expansion in the areas of offline sales, services, and operations.

Starting on August 1, 2022, Muralikrishnan will take on the role of President of Xiaomi India. In this role, he will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day operations, services, public affairs, and strategic projects, as well as furthering Xiaomi’s support for the Indian government’s “Make in India” and “Digital India” initiatives.

Chief Business Officer Raghu Reddy, Chief Financial Officer Sameer BS Rao, and Chief Marketing Officer Anuj Sharma all came back to Xiaomi from Poco India last month as part of the reorganization.

Former head of Xiaomi India’s executive team and current Group Vice President, Mr. Manu Jain is now in charge of all aspects of Xiaomi’s foreign strategy, from PR and marketing to expansion into new markets.
