One UI 4.0 has begun rolling out to US users of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3

For the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3, Samsung has been seeding an Android 12 upgrade since last month in several areas, but it was only available on US-based Verizon devices. The remainder of the foldables in the United States can now get the upgrade as well.

There are both carrier-locked (comcast) and unlocked (non-comcast) mobile devices in the US. F711USQS2BUL7 is the firmware version for the locked Galaxy Z Flip3 and F711U1UES2BUL7 for the unlocked version. The version number for the Z Fold3 is F926USQS1BUL7. To be sure, Samsung may have addressed some of the difficulties with the previous firmware releases by bumping up the firmware versions a bit.

In addition, the OS for both devices has been updated to include a December 2021 patch. Lastly, if you haven’t received the new version yet, please be patient. It should be arriving in the coming days.
