The Huawei Nova 9 is Available for Purchase in Europe for a Suggested Retail Price of €499

Following a Chinese launch event last month, Huawei’s nova 9 made its way to the international stage at an event in Vienna. The larger nova 9 Pro, which is still available only in China, has been left out.

Along with an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4,300mAh battery with 66W charging, the Nova 9 has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G 4G chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. In addition to the 50MP RYYB sensor on the back, there’s also an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP auxiliary modules for taking macro photos and gathering depth information. Google Mobile Services are absent from the Android platform, which is powered by EMUI 12 on top of Android 11.

For €499, Huawei offers the Nova 9 in Black or Starry Blue. As long as the screen is still under warranty, Huawei will replace it free of charge. Pre-orders begin today and include a free pair of FreeBuds 4 earphones; regular sales begin at the end of the month and continue through early next year.
