Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi K50 series will arrive in February, with a 120W charger for the K50 Pro

An official announcement from Redmi has confirmed the arrival of the Redmi K50 in February 2022. They announced the series’ arrival “next month” on Weibo, but didn’t give a specific date. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and 120W fast charging are both expected on the Pro phone.

As stated in the report, the Redmi K50 Pro’s 4,700mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 100% in just 17 minutes. The K series now has the same 120W specification as the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and other Xiaomi-branded phones.

As a result of this, Redmi promises that the new K50 Pro will feature twice as powerful liquid-cooled heat dissipation with a super-large surface. Using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, Xiaomi claims this will be the “coldest” phone.
