Google has released the first Android 13 patch for Pixel devices, which includes improvements to Bluetooth, battery life, and the user interface

Google’s monthly security update was rolled out on Wednesday afternoon. This month’s drop corresponds with the first patch for all compatible Google Pixel phones since the release of Android 13 to the general market. This update addresses many problems that surfaced after installing Android 13.

The update will fix an issue where wireless charging was not activating under certain scenarios and will also address the excessive battery drain caused by certain wallpapers. Additionally, a fault that prevented some alerts from showing up on the lock screen has been addressed, as has an issue with the fingerprint scanner that would periodically prevent it from working.

Pixel 4, 4 XL, 4a, 4a (5G), Pixel 5, 5a, Pixel 6, and 6 Pro are all receiving the TP1A.220905.004 update this month. Google has announced that the Pixel 6a will receive the September update later this month.
